Kumudavati River Rejevunation Project completes One year in Karnataka

Kumudavati River Rejevunation Project completes One year. An otherwise dry waterways and riverbed today is rejuvenated and holds out hope once again. When fully rejuvenated it can meet 70% of Bangalore's drinking Water needs. Thanks to Volunteer For A Better India, an Initiative of Art of Living for this stupendous effort. Towards increasing local participation (and ownership) and to bond with the project, a Farmers Convention is organised on 22.2.2014 which will be inaugurated by Pujya Gurudev Sri Sri Ravi Shankar ji which will also be graced by various Swamijis of the Mutt in the river basin as guests of Honor.

Mr Shivraj Tandadagi, Minister for Minor Irrigation, Mr. E Krishnappa, MLC, Dr Srinivasamurthy, MLA-Nelamangala also will be present on the occasion
