Shouldn’t our festivals be violence-free

Violence free festivals

We need to take a moment and think, is violence part of religion or a medieval culture? Can killing someone innocent, lead us to peace?

The ISIS considers living beings as objects and beheads them, aren’t we doing the same by showing no respect to ‘life’?

We are guiding our kids through the ‘killing’ ceremony, do we want them to get ‘used to’ killing. Do we want India to have people who are ‘used to’ killing?

Let’s be bold and brave and say “I’ll be non-violent, if it means I'll go to hell, so be it. But I will not spread more violence on this planet.”

The world is watching, it’s time to kindle the love within’ :)

Yoga as it is, explained by Indian PM Narendra Modi at UNGA 2014

Yoga is an invaluable gift of our ancient tradition. Yoga embodies unity of mind and body; thought and action; restraint and fulfillment; harmony between man and nature; a holistie approach to health and well being. It is not about exercise but to discover the sense of oneness with yourself, the world and the nature. By changing our lifestyle and creating consciousness, it can help us deal with climate change.

Let us work towards adopting an International Yoga Day.

Art of Living Rudrabhishek Puja in Lucknow

Rudra puja Lucknow

Rudra Puja is an ancient practice followed in India since time immemorial. ‘Rudra’ means ‘Shiva - the Benevolent', ' the Destroyer of Evil'. 'Puja' means that which is born out of fullness. This Puja aims for inner peace and fulfillment. In this Puja, Lord Shiva is worshipped in his Rudra form. It is hailed by all Vedic scriptures as one of the greatest Pujas to remove all evils, to attain all desires and for all-round prosperity. Scriptures on Astrology prescribe this emphatically as a remedy for several planetary doshas.
