• वेदान्त के अनुसार, मानसिक एकाग्रता की विशेषता यह है कि हमें अपनी असली आत्मा को सूर्यों का सूर्य और प्रकाशों का प्रकाश अनुभव करना, साक्षात करना होता है।
• जैसे को तैसा आकर मिलता है। आप यहीं, इसी क्षण ईश्वर के आनन्द को अपने भीतर अनुभव करो – सफलता का आनन्द अपने आप, आप की ओर खिंचता हुआ चला आयेगा।
• सत्य को नष्ट नहीं किया जा सकता और असत्य कभी फल-फूल नहीं सकता।
• जो मनुष्य सब के प्रति अभेदना की भावना से ओत-प्रोत होता है, उसका हृदय, निर्भयता, शक्ति तथा आध्यात्मक पवित्रता का केन्द्र बन जाता है।
• सच्ची प्रीति और प्रेम जब उमड़ता है तो अन्धे को आंखें मिल जाने के समान होता है और दुनिया बदल जाती है।

• विषय वासना-हीन प्रेम ही आध्यात्मिक प्रकाश है।
• प्रेम का अर्थ है, व्यवहार में अपने पड़ोसियों के साथ, उन लोगों के साथ जिनसे आप मिलते जुलते हैं, एकता और अभेदना का अनुभव करना।
• कामना रहित कर्म ही सर्वोत्तम त्याग अथवा पूजा है।
• अहंकार-पूर्ण जीवन को छोड़ देना ही त्याग है, और वही सौंदर्य है।
• एक-एक में और सब में ईश्वरत्व का भान करना ही वेदान्त के अनुसार त्याग है।
• त्याग के अतिरिक्त और कहीं वास्तविक आनन्द नहीं मिल सकता; त्याग के बिना न तो ईश्वर-प्रेरणा हो सकती है, न प्रार्थना।
• सच्चा प्रेम, सूर्य के समान, आत्मा को विकसित कर देता है – मोह मन को पाले के समान ठिठुराकर संकुचित कर डालता है।
• प्रेम को मोह मत समझो – प्रेम और है, मोह और है – इन्हें एक समझना भारी भूल है।
• प्रेम का अर्थ है सौंदर्य का दर्शन करना।

Q: What is Divine Love?

Sri Sri Ravi Shankar: There is a love in which respect is not lost in spite of intense intimate love, the love of one who is so centered. The more you go near Krishna, the more you go near Buddha, the more you go near Jesus, your respect will only increase, and it will not diminish.

Q: Whenever I see a good looking girl, I find myself in love. Is that love or infatuation?
Sri Sri Ravi Shankar: Well, time will tell you! First, find out whether they are in love with you or not. If that matches, it is a different story. If it doesn't match, that is a different story altogether. Either case, you will become mature. But don't keep falling in love. Rise in love! In love, you don't expect anything in return. If you want something in return, don't call it love. Then that's need. In a relationship there is a need, but there is no need in love. Love is your very nature. If it sounds too philosophical for now, just keep it in the background and relax. One day you will understand, when your heart breaks or when you realize you expected something too much, something will pop up from the background of the mind and try to save you.
