Inner Transformation through truth, tradition, technology, trade…

Sri Sri Ravishankar Bangalore is called the IT city. IT, I say, stands for the city of inner transformation. You need transformation in society, in technology, in our outlook and in our environment.

There are four Ts that have to be reviewed and renewed again and again - truth, tradition, technology and trade. They have to be renewed again and again. You all know about technology, but I am talking of the experience of reality. Buddha gave one technology - how to control your mind. More...

Live anywhere in peace and happiness

Change yourself and you can then live anywhere in peace and happiness.

Most of the world is like a mental hospital. Some people are sick with jealousy, others with anger, hatred, passion. They are victims of their habits and emotions. But you can make your home a place of peace.

Analyse yourself. All emotions are reflected in the body and mind. Envy and fear cause the face to pale, and love makes it glow. Learn to be calm and you will always be happy.

~ Swami Paramhansa Yogananda

Do not waste…

Don’t keep your mind engaged in too many activities.

Analyse what you get from them and see if they are really important. Don’t waste your time.

~ Swami Paramhansa Yogananda

A thought is like a note of music, Swami Paramananda

Do not let us play false with ourselves.

You must order your life in such a way that you need not explain yourself. Your action will be sufficing and your word will be sufficing. We may think that our thoughts are only for ourselves, but they cover a large area and have a wide influence. That man is noble who thinks and does his best when is unseen and unheard.

~ Swami Paramananda

Allow – Deepak Chopra

Real certainty is not certainty about things; it is certainty of your existence, your truth, your Being. When you find your core certainty within, then you no longer look for certainty outside. The unfathomable nature of the ever-changing world ceases to be a source of anxiety and instead is a source of joy and adventure.

Meditation is central to the ability to remain fresh and open to a reality that is not simply a replaying of past experience. Meditation is a powerful practice for cultivating witness consciousness – a state of silent awareness that transcends the mind. With a regular daily meditation practice, the mind spontaneously begins to let go of old conditioning and rigid habits of thinking. More...
